What is BlueMusic?

BlueMusic is a music player for Android, iOS, Wear OS, watchOS and related platform experiences. It is designed for playing music files you own or are authorized to access from your device, supported cloud storage providers or your own media servers.

By using BlueMusic, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use BlueMusic according to these Terms and the rules of the app store where you obtained it.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, attack, overload, bypass access controls, misuse subscriptions or use BlueMusic to infringe the rights of others.

Your Music and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the music, files, playlists, credentials, cloud accounts and media servers you use with BlueMusic. You must have the rights or permissions needed to access and play that content.

BlueMusic does not grant rights to music files, streaming catalogues or third-party content. Metadata and artwork results may depend on third-party services and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Cloud Storage and External Services

When you connect Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, pCloud or another supported provider, BlueMusic uses the access you authorize to browse and play your files. Where supported, access is read-only for playback and browsing.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, rate limits or data handling by those third-party providers.

If you configure a manual media server, you are responsible for the server address, credentials and network security. Use HTTPS for remote servers whenever possible.

Cloud Backup

Cloud Backup is an optional premium feature that stores an app backup in Firebase. It is designed to back up BlueMusic app data such as settings, playlists, favorites, library metadata and artwork used by the app. It is not designed to store your audio files.

You must sign in to use Cloud Backup. Keep your account credentials secure. If you restore a backup, it may replace local app data on the device according to the choices shown in the app.

Cloud Backup may be limited by file size, rate limits, subscription status, account checks, App Check integrity validation and fraud-prevention controls.

Subscriptions, Billing and Refunds

Cloud Backup subscriptions are sold through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. Prices, taxes, renewal dates, cancellation and refund handling are managed by the store account you use.

A subscription gives access to Cloud Backup while it is active. If a subscription expires, is refunded, revoked or cannot be verified, premium backup features may stop working. A limited restore period may be offered so you can recover an existing backup.

Do not share purchase tokens, receipts or transaction identifiers. A subscription may be linked to one BlueMusic backup account for abuse prevention and restore integrity.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep BlueMusic reliable, but features may change, pause or stop because of platform requirements, app store policy, third-party service changes, security issues or technical limitations.

We may update the app and these Terms. Continued use of BlueMusic after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

No Warranty

BlueMusic is provided as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect metadata, compatibility with every file, server, device, car system, watch or cloud provider, or that backups will always be recoverable.

You should keep your own copies of important music files and data outside BlueMusic.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlueMusic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of content, loss of profits or service interruptions arising from use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
